I am not good at communicating with the world through writing, or even keeping up with my business instagram… I wanted to share something I did that I’m very proud of: a podcast about my own healing journey.
Trigger warning: Discusses sexual abuse. I share a bit about my own discovery of sexual abuse by my father, how I healed with lots of therapy and how dissociation saved me and my children. I talk about how EMDR healed me to the point where I can do this work that I currently love: working with other survivors and helping them to heal. If you feel called to listen, please do! https://amibroken.buzzsprout.com/763742/8251233-s2ep10-rachael-all-of-a-sudden-it-came-tumbling-down?fbclid=IwAR3NsWrmd91UB1whCVoO1rlXOJqDzcQ3DO-deYObdwS7ssPa42ZGdj4JvkA I’ll try to do better and post things on a more consistent basis. Warmly, Rachael

Well this has been fun! I am not a website designer and have never done this before, but in the interest of life-long learning and making my business known, I have developed this website! www.healingselftherapy.com.
I'm pretty proud of my first attempt even though I know it will require some editing and a lot of help from friends and family who have a much better idea what they are doing! Pictures are all by me or Redfox Chase, my lovely wife. All content is strictly mine and I hope to keep adding to it so that anyone who accesses this website can receive good information about EMDR therapy, PTSD and dissociation. Thanks for checking it out and I will be adding more as time goes on so come on back periodically! Warmly wishing you a peaceful healing day, Rachael |
